honestly, I don't have that many choices when shopping for a used Taco with specific color and tranny. It'd be nice if i could find a 6' but there aren't many 17 inferno out there. I think I will be okay with a 5' bed. But thanks for the input!

That’s the most overland-ready shit I’ve ever seen. Where’d you buy your set-up?

2017 sport here. About to hit 40k and the only issues I’ve had is fixing the AC blower fan which was recalled, and getting the TSB’s done. I got the sport purely for the hood, gives the truck a really attractive look compared to an plain hood. I rarely hear of people ever needing to use the rear locker. It’s all about what you want, everyone hear will tell you what they like.

And Yup, exact my thought. After debating myself for quite some times now, I am going for a Sport. If everything works out, I should have the truck by next weekend. Stay tuned!! haha

I test drove a 4x4 sport and OR. I chose the sport because, honestly, I preferred the color.
I don't offroad, so I don't NEED a locker (most people don't even use it), but I simply wanted the 4x4 should I ever be in an area with bad winter weather and it was also about $1.5k less which I used for other upgrades (heated leather seats clazzio, suspension, floor liners)
Also, despite it having no locker I did okay offroading the one time I wanted to try out my 4x4. Never did get stuck and the brake LSD helped me get out of a tricky situation where a locker would have been needed.

And if you are like me you'd be replacing the suspension anyway (kings, bilsteins, dobinsons) and forget what suspension the stock OR or sport has.

I have a 15 sport and love it, however have test drove a 3rd gen with the MT I really enjoyed it. It’s a tough call I prefer a the auto simply due to traffic but the 3.5 MT had a great power band and just that little bit of extra interior room is worth it imho.

Hi guys, what is that light circled in Blue? Sorry I don't have any other pics, I got it from the dealer's website. Its shape looks kinda like "CHK", check engine?

They both have the exact same MSRP so I am assuming the one you chose had less options in order to save $1.5K?

OR has more Off-Road goodies thrown in for almost the same price as a Sport. Softer ride, no brainer.

Exactly. I really wanted OR, but no DC SB OFF ROAD 6spd MT in canada, only sport. The skewp is cool and all, but still...:(
