The pro only comes in the short bed. Trailhunter comes 5 or 6, along with a couple lower options.

Yes. Absolutely. There’s actually dealerships that are known for not marking them up. And the dealers will have them.

I like the PRO as I've got a 2020 model now. I'll give it a couple of years to get the kinks out and to see what they add too. I put the Meso Puddle lights on my 2020 recently and I'm disappointed that I don't see any factory mirror puddle lamps on these new models. Not sure if they are or not, but both front seats need to be power, instead of the passenger being manual. For the price these bad boys will be, they should be loaded up and I mean loaded.

For many, I think the 2 upper trims take the personization outta ownership. Granted both are very nice but the aftermarket always steps up.

Some things I would change about the pro:

    matte fender arches
    body colored roof

100% the trailhunter. The snorkel would be added anyway (crossing Tn and Mexican rivers) the tow package with trailer brake integration for hauling either my boat or the offroad camper, 2" lift (I added 2" to my '04 for significant ongoing expense.) I have the heat/cooled seats in our Rav4Prime, so definitely a fan of those, particularly on the long road trips. I have no need for the crazy seats in the pro- I don't race or hit things that fast. I'm not a fan of the weird ARB light bar in the back, as it will get an all metal ARE industrial topper. The other problem is the 1700 lb load rating. I normally double that in my 04 on long trips, so it will get Timbren spring helpers at first, and see what needs to be upgraded or replaced down the road.

The factory snorkel has never been about water but an effort to keep above the dust.
Toyota calls it Desert Air Intake.

Neither because I would want to carry over having a manual transmission like my current pro. I'm going to sit tight and hold on to (probably false) hope that they figure out a way to add a manual to the hybrid by the time the mid-cycle refresh comes around.

That is literally not possible from an engineering or marketing standpoint.

Agreed. I’m planning to matte out all the shiny plastics. And I’m ok with the black roof, sort of…but I think I’d prefer the body colored variant if given an option. Although, if you go black or a darker-ish color like Bronze, it might not be as glaring as with one of the lighter colors, or straight white.

$50K+ with 10% tax for a fancy midsize truck. I think I'll pass.

Hmm. wasn't the US repealed? And it only applied to cars. Or are you in Canada?

Well, we won’t really know the price specs for a bit, but I do like the educated guessing. It’ll be fun to see who was closest to the real prices.

as for the manual, I thought it was being reported there would be a few models with it? TRD Pro, for one? Or was I hallucinating?

TRD Pro and Trailhunter are both hybrid driven - so no manual.

Can’t say that either fits my needs, but I love the Pro.

If anything I'd be leaning the pro with the ranger raptor is 100% out of the question with a pathetic 1200 payload rating, I use my truck bed
