Which rear diff limited slip additive is best

08 Tacoma TRD V6 4x4. I changed my rear diff fluid and Im getting intermittent “lack of slip” so to say at slow speeds while turning. From what I’ve read the 08 models have a true limited slip rear and and require an additive when you change fluid. Which fluid is best or let’s say most reliable when it comes to lasting results? Thanks

 

Any tube of LSD additive. No need to change the fresh oil you’ve got in there.

You never answered my question on your other thread. Does it have an “LSD OIL” sticker on your diff?

 

Which one doesn't matter as much as whether you are changing out the fluid at regular intervals (30k miles or more frequent if severe service or offroading).

 

Used this during a LSD swap in the Supra as recommended by the Supra resources, and it did great. It stinks though so don't spill it.

 

Sure enough it does. Little LSD only sticker. Covered by dirt that needed scraped off but it’s there
