    I replaced a CV axle last year with an aftermarket one and the boots didn't look quite right, so I was skeptical of the quality.... I may be replacing it with another and keeping it as a trail spare. I had a used one come in, but the threads were smashed on the end from when it was removed off of the donor truck.


    Just wondering what kind of luck yall were having with the different types available.

    New OEM is not an option due to cost at this point.

    I still have the non-usable used axle, figure I could use that as a core if needed. What was cost on that?

    I forget as it's been a few years but not significantly more than the chinese ones from the auto chains
