    It was the zip tie holding it to the tank. I believe it was on way to tight after the dealership reinstalled it after the frame replacement.

    Didn't need to completely remove the bed to replace the fuel pump.

    Just to follow up. I spliced in new wires and heat shrunk them. I replaced the pump, strainer, sending unit, sending unit gasket, evap valve thingy / gasket, evap vent hose thingy, gas cap, and new fuel filter.

    Nice to have a gauge that works again and obviously a pump. I couldn’t pull the bed or I should say I didn’t want to. I’m a double cab and the pump assembly is under the cab.

    It wasn’t a walk in the park by any stretch, some hoses were a bitch to get at, but I did the work on the floor with no hoist. Thanks for the pointers on which pump to get.
