Hello everyone i am pretty new to working on my car and it has been leaking transmission oil from this area but i am unsure what i would need to stop the leak and sounds it makes when driving. i got these pieces assuming that they could be of help but i am really unsure cause the seal don't fit. I took my drive shaft out, this is the final part i need to do . MY TACOMA IS 99, RWD, I4,2.4L

    interested as well

the pix def shows 'A' seal tht is totally failed
didnt know tht there was a seal in the 'front' of the drive shaft

is there any big leaks where the tranny bolts to the engine?
that 100% would be the rear main seal
$20 part but crap ton of labor(to remove tranny) simply to tap in the seal

Hello, I appreciate the response there is no big leaks where the tranny bolts to the engine. At least not that I know of. But you are telling me that I would have to drop my transmission?
