Well I decided not to go with a 3" OME set up cuz the price is way to much for me. Im just going to get bilsteins. I'll be happy with them at 2.5"

Roxspins set up with his billys at 2.5 with 285's inspired me to go with the same set up, just on stock wheels. Of course I will need to get spacers and do some trimming, but I dont think ill need to trim anymore for 2.5 then i would for 3" (right?)

My other option would be to just get 265's with no trimming and set em at 2.5". Just lookin to see what you guys would go with.

going to get billy 5100 or 5125 in the back with 2"aal or just the tsb

If your dead set on going w/the 2.5" setting I would just save up for the 3" OME setup. I think you would be better off/happier later on down the road.

IMO go with them set at 2" with 265/75s. That .5" difference between lifts can actually make a big difference under full sups articulation and sharp steering. Plus if you set yer bills at 2" it will allow the susp to ride a bit less harsh... from what I've read/researched; I'm still bone-stock.

I'd have to agree with the other dude and tell you to wait and go with the OME or some other 3"er if you want 285s, your taco is a $25,000+ truck, why skimp on the suspension?

    getting there....
i'd go with the billies set at 2.5 with a good aal in the rear........or a toytec 3 inch kit...........and a set of 265/75/16 all terrains. the all terrains will ride alot better than the mt tires, and the size will still look good.

I'm putting my 5100's on tomorrow and am gonna set them at 2.5" i'll be running stock wheels and tires for a couple weeks then i'm getting 285/70/17 nitto terra grapplers on XD revolver wheels.

If i gotta get new UCA's to deal with alignment or rubbing issues oh well its what happens when you start messing around with suspension stuff.
