So I know the snap ring has settings from 0" to 2" and I just went and measured the height from ground to wheel well on the front and back of my truck and the front is 35" and the back is like 36.25" or so (maybe closer to 36).

My question is if I go with the Bilstein 5100's and use the 2" setting will my front end be pitched up in the air? I know the truck is raked out at stock but the last thing I want to do is have the opposite effect. I'd rather just get it right the first time and not have to adjust it once they're in.

Has anyone else had experience with this? Thanks!

I went with the .65" on mine and looks pretty close to level to me

I set mine to the 3rd notch, kept the OEM coils, and added a single Deaver add a leaf to the OEM springs (left the overload in also). It now has a 1.75” lift and it’s still level after 80k miles, many with loads and off-road.

Most people measure center hub to fender for a more accurate measurement and compare front to back, you are factoring air pressure of the tire when measure from ground. From there it is simple math. 2" setting is obviously going to make your front high. Probably need to set yours to 1"

@Primo 95 Awesome, this is perfect thanks for the heads up on the measurement. I don't really plan on changing the springs or anything else at this point so was just going to put the 5100's front and back and re-use front springs.

Does anything need to be done to any drivetrain components or anything to account for the lift in the front? I know it's not a huge lift but I don't want to put stress on anything else.

No its good to go, just need alignment.

    I vote 2-3 clips.

No other mods needed. If it does rake, add a leaf, not a block!

Hey- so mines a 2017 with no collision sensors, so maybe also ask here if it will need resetting due to the change in height? That’s the only thing I can think of that may need adjustment. But also get an alignment after the work like Bishop suggested.

Good thinking. I put a new grill on and moved the sensor over and had no issues but that wasn't really changing the height much. I know some people have to put washers in to change the angle or something.

Here's my opinion. I would either choose:

    a) 2/1" lift, with either a block or AAD in the rear (depending if you carry weight in the rear), or
    b) 1" lift in the front and stock in the rear.

Either option will be perfectly level, with no more oem Brake dive, and no more Taco lean.
