Alright guys, I'm sure a lot of you saw my last thread about my front end setup. I'm wanting to ditch my 3 inch spacer and get new shocks and coils. I posted a WTB thread and have 3 different offers on the table and had some questions to see what I really need to get what I'm looking for.

1: ome nitrocharger 9000 with ome 886, no top plate spacers.

2: blistein 5100 with ome 886, no top plate spacer

3: toytec ultimate coilovers, eibach coils

I'm looking to keep the full 3 inches lift in the front or damn near close to it because I like how it looks with the full 3. Seller with the Toytec ultimates said he got 3.5" out of them.

I'm not concerned about the price I'll pay for them, the prices are different for All 3 choices. I'm looking for the best choice for what I'm looking for, a better lift with keeping at least 3 inches of lift, more than 3 I'm fine with as well. As long as at least 3 inches. I am aware that I'll probably be looking into new UCAs as well.

Is it possible that I'll get 3.5 out of the toytec? If so, I can just get add a leafs that will level whenever I ditch my rear blocks for add a leafs or new leaf packs. And will I get a full the inch with the other set ups, or can I add top plate spacers to acquire 3 or more?

I know my questions are me just rambling on and on, I just want to get the best setup for what I'm looking for because I plan to leave whatever set up I get on the truck for the rest of time I own it, instead of switching it around again like I am now with the spacer.

Any info is greatly appareciated, thanks for reading my constant stupid rambling guys!!

Also, I'm running 17x9 wheels with 4.53 back spacing with 285/70/17 radar renegade r7 mud terrains with slight rubbing when turning full turn to the left. I wanna keep my running to a minimum, another reason I'd like to stay at 3 or more inches of front end lift.

So at this point in time you are only upgrading the front?

I don't have anything to offer on regards to the nitro charger shocks, but I run 5100s in the front with 887 coils and really like the outcome.

Those 886 coils are designed with a higher spring rate. This gives a stiffer ride than the 884s, 885s, and 887s (all three are the same rate, just different heights). The 886 coils higher spring rate is beneficial if you plan on adding significant weight to the front end i.e. bumper, winch, etc.

    Edit

Lift has nothing to do with rubbing on these trucks. You will need to do trimming, or the CMC to fit 285s with no rubbing.

Yeah I do plan to add an aftermarket bumper soon down the road, so I figured I might as well go ahead and get 886s and just deal with the stiffer ride up until.

And yes, right now just the front and then I'm either going to go with an add a leaf or a new leaf pack. Still undecided which.

Also, does anyone have any information regarding the toytec ultimates? Would they sag more with added weight, say between 110-130 pounds? And will it actually give me 3.5 inches of lift like the seller inquired?

I have done some trimming to reduce rubbing with my 285s. I just wasn't sure that if I lost say 1/4-1/2 inch of lift if it would cause it to rub more or not.

Also the toytec ultimate setup I'm looking at has silver coils, not red. Not sure of the difference but that's what they are.

Lifting does not prevent 285s from rubbing...you are not changing the path of the wheel when the suspension cycles so you're going to rub when compressed regardless of how high you lift it.
