I have a 2007 Tacoma SR5/Prerunner, quad cab,2wd with 87xxx miles. The vehicle has OEM shocks and has not been lifted. I am thinking about getting new shocks and can use some help. At what mileage did you guys change yours? Did you stick with the OEM shocks or go with something else?

    I replaced mine at approx. 133K; Bilstein 4600 Series - Light Truck/SUV.

Bought them at Autoanything and saved A LOT of money.

Do you feel a diff. with those over the OEM?
I don't go off road so it is around town and highway miles, plus towing a boat from time to time.

Yes but you have to remember I was replacing shocks/struts that had 133K miles on them. I don't remember how the OEM shocks/struts felt when they were new. Your driving habits are very similar to mine and I think you'll be pleased with the 4600s but they WILL be stiffer than what you have now because they're new.
