Carlyle, the quality is a step above consumer level. And wherever you're at there's usually a Napa within a stone's throw should you need warranty.

I bought a husky stubby set for 20 doll hairs to leave in my truck during Black Friday at Home Depot. At home, my spouse has all the standard and metric sets.

As most others have said, between those three options I would buy whatever is cheapest and from whichever store is closest to you for warranty swap purposes.

The quality between those 3 brands is virtually the same.

I've had Masterforce for about 5 years. I've beat on them a good amount but and they still work flawlessly. I still havent had to use the lifetime warranty.

I had almost 50 grand tied up in Snap On when I worked with American Airlines...Had a tool box that cost 12 grand to boot.....Sold it all when I retired..
Now I go with whatever's on sale at Harbor Freight..
Between 1/4 , 3/8, and 1/2 inch drive sockets and the ratchets, extensions , and assorted extra stuff, you'll save a fortune ..And I actually bought a blue US General tool box that's huge...400 bucks and it's a fantastic buy..

I've had great luck with the Icons from harbor freight.

Harbor freight has a much quicker and easier warranty swap than just about everywhere.

Another vote for Tekton here. I really like their 72 tooth ratchets.

Those sockets aren't horrible (I keep a set in my side x side, but the ratchets are pretty bad).

That's sad to hear about S-K Tools. My dad gave me my first socket set, which was an S-K when I was 6-7 years old. 50 years ago & I still have it. Works like new. USA quality

I have a Craftsman that my wife got me in the late ‘80’s. Shellshock got some as replacements for some stolen and the newer versions have the Craftsman name only. Not even close in quality.

I’d buy craftsman over the ones you posted mostly because I know the brand and you can get them replaced at more places then lowes. I love my little craftsman 156 tool set but mostly just throw it in the truck for road trips. I have lots of craftsman stuff in my shop toolbox but 95% of the time I reach past my craftsman stuff and grab my Tekton. Feels better in the hand and I’ve beaten on them and they just keep on working. I’ve broke lots of craftsman stuff over the years but would still pick them over husky or the cheaper brands.

I like all my tekton stuff especially for the price. The warranty is excellent too. Their ratchet is pretty legit for the money. That being said, I do use a snappy ratchet but I won't buy their sockets. Snap on ratchets are excellent. Also their line wrenches are the best in the business too.

Another vote for Tekton, they have been great for me. Recently purchased their 1/4"-3/8" torque wrenches and compared them to my Matco and they performed great.
