Naw don't really want to spend that much money and have to mod it like that. Thanks for the suggestion though. I went with Shrockworks straight style. Seem to be well made. I have to install them when the weather gets above -10C :)

    I like them too!

The thing I like the most is how they go from wheel-opening-to-wheel-opening and their double butt ends. I received some fender and door damage from a rock wedging in the opening between the tire and the leading edge of the shrock slider - that particular rock would have been stopped if I had some stubbs.

I have all pro's on my truck and haven't had any issues with them, and I've used them quite a bit and on one occasion, really slammed them (I did not realize I was going to hit so I had way too much momentum).

They will flex if you jack the truck up from the kick out because it has leverage on the mounts. If you stick to the parts of the slider that are tighter to the truck you're fine.

I wanted sliders that stuck out further. I don't play on the rocks all that often so I'm willing to be 2'' wider in exchange for being better protected everywhere else I wheel. I wheel hard, but my #1 focus is "I gotta drive this thing home and to work tomorrow" not "I'm making it up this canyon come hell or high water".

I may sell my bolt ons (shrock) - They are great from the quality standpoint and for most off roaders - I just want a kick-out. I may just weld some on. :)

I think the kick out slider bars are good style and protects little bit more.

I may be interested just depending on price...

I got me an access cab...I know you got a DC...but is the length the same for both as far as length of sliders?
