Hey yall, I think it's time been debating long enough, so all I want is to hear this whine every day. So supercharger... I just want to be sure I'm getting the right one with yalls help. My trucks the '10 trd sport v6 model manual tranny access cab. I think its the PTR29-35090 main unit and PTR29-35110 the installation kit item numbers but those who have them or know for sure please verify. Help me own the streets of Southwest va asap pls. Oh and I wonder how an xtra 400 lbs of weight on the truck affects the charger. The all pro bumper and toolbox add a bit.
    Thanks!!! Cory

ya I called a toyota dealership today and they said theyve only done one in years but they think its those part numbers but then there is the question of whether the chip can be upgraded or whatever. they had no clue so im still hesitant.

There is no "chip". Chips are a thing of the past. The dealer has to re-flash your computer once its installed. Order it from a dealership that knows what they're talking about. Call shannon at Champion toyota in houston. They had good prices last time I checked

Well I talked to robert there, shannon left or something but he told me those were the right numbers but the kit he said 100 which i think its 110. I also found out that you can add the TRD CAI w/o voiding the warranty but you have to find someone who knows how to do it or figure out the mapping. So needin help there too, I'm located in Southwest Virginia. They have a really good price though.

I don't think there is different mapping for sc+trd cai. Just put the cai on after you get the sc installed. If you have a problem, which you won't, swap it out with your stock setup before you go back to the dealer.

Installed my supercharger myself at home and then drove it to the dealership to have the computer reflashed. I have the TRD cai and all you do is take the stock intake off and install the cai. You do not set any mapping for the cai install. Also recommend the TRD muffler, sounds awesome.
Oh by the way, the APR X-1 will not be available before April, called them myself to check.
