    Hello!
I'm new here. Looking to get my first new Tacoma since selling my 1987 Toyota Truck(pre-Pre-Runner). I have a situation that I was hoping y'all can help with. I want it as a daily driver with maybe some off roading(nothing crazy) and light work duty. I love the smaller 1st Gen body but the "comforts" of the newer models. Sadly, blue tooth and usb outlets are two things I really want to have. I've looked at a few 2004's(pre-runner, V6) and I like those but, again, missing some modern comforts. You folks have any suggestions on how I can meld the two issues with a certain Tacoma? Ideally I would like a v6 and 4x4 but neither are an absolute must. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!

If it is only Blue Tooth and USB outlets that is no big deal to retrofit in older trucks.

What other new comforts can you not live without since we all have different ideas of what comfort is .

Hah yes I'm so out of touch...never considered retrofitting....i guess that's a thing? Let's see....bluetooth, usb, comfortable ride. I guess the most important thing is I prefer the smaller models. So somehow modernizing an 1st gen....is that possible?

Unless someone can convince that the newer model are not actually that much bigger? I haven't actually looked at the numbers but my neighbor has 2020 Tacoma and it seems huge. Almost too much truck for me but maybe not?

Your talking a unloaded for the most 1/2 ton pick up not sure what you call a comfortable ride.

You want a Soft ride look to something with a suspension like the late nineties 4Runners and buy a trailer.
