I love my 2009 SR5 2.7L 4x4 Access Cab, but I have an oppertunity to get into either a used fully loaded Silver 2009 TRD off road 4x4 Double Cab 6 speed with 11,000miles, or a brand new 2010 Access Cab TRD Off Road 4x4 6 speed in any colour I want (factory order) brand new zero miles?

    What would you do???

I love having the double cab, but I also need it for the booster seat. If you don't need the full back seat you could go with the access cab. I would think they would both be around the same price.

Everybody gets different cabs for different reasons.....but if you can upgrade from SR5 to TRD with no extra cost...i say go for it either way. The key words are with "no extra cost"

I agree with you, but I wont be losing anything on my current Tacoma. I have a buyer for it. In Canada these trucks almost appreciate in value.

I don't have a Tacoma yet, but I'm looking to get a new double cab in the spring. I personally like the double cab because you never know when you may have to drive a couple extra people and having those full rear seats will be handy. I know I'm a big guy and there's no way I could fit in the back of the access cab very comfortably. So I voted for the double cab, sweet truck.

You'll end up using the 2 back doors and back seat far more than the longer bed. And V6 for power (locker is always good too).

i really think that you should get the 11k mile one. these trucks are going to last to 400k so i really dont see the difference in saving thousands of dollars for 2.5% of this trucks life. as long as you like the used truck, you wont regret getting the double cab
