Hi, I’m on the market for new UCAs and TC makes two different kinds. Trying to figure out which one will be best for me?

    75% highway driving
    25% off roading

Current set up, Kings 2.5 w/ res on 285s. Thx

Look at the new ICON Delta Joint UCA's.

And I don't wheel at all but I have JBA's right now. These will go on in the Spring with new Front and Rear Extended Travel Kings and new OEM LCA's with Whiteline Bushings and new OEM Alignment Cams.

If you choose TC, stay away from the heim joints. They're good joints but not meant for street use. They'll wear faster. The standard bushing joint will last longer and will do very well off road too. Aside from cool factor and more maintenance of heim joints, you won't notice a difference unless you're racing your truck.

As for icon vs tc, I would stick to tc. They're more proven than icon but that's just my opinion.

Thx @svdude. Looks like I’ll stay away from heim joint then.

100% right. Heim joints are not made for your setup. Get the uniball. I have been running them for 25k miles now. They’re great.

Why? JBA’s work fine with extended travel Kings...if it’s cause the red looks funny paired with Kings (which it does) then just paint them.
If cool points are a factor the Icon Billet UCA’s look awesome in person.

I’ll correct myself slightly... Can’t go wrong with SPC, JBA, Icon or TC - but heim joints are a no no with the setup you’re looking to install.

    Thanks for posting up

The heim joint system offers more adjustability which is necessary on larger drop bracket lifts or applications where customers want maximum adjustment. With your suspension setup and tires, the standard Polyurethane Bushing Upper Control Arm will be just fine. It will help reduce any wandering or darting of the vehicle and make it easier to align.

We aren't too far from you (Corona, CA), please reach out if you have any questions or would like to order a set of Upper Control Arms

    All the things!
I feel like I've noticed an increased forum presence from you guys... might just be my imagination. Anyhow, I'm very impressed to see you guys helping out members with your products and even on products that aren't yours.

Makes me happy I have your bed stiffeners and it encourages me to buy your other products if I happen to be in the market for them. Glad to know that you guys are standing behind your products.

Starting to wish that I gotten the TC UCA's vs the Icon uniballs last week. Hey, live and learn.
