Which model are you aiming for?
For me, thought I’d want the pro but the trail hunter looks more capable for most off roading environments. Also, I’ve always loved the vehicles from the lost world Jurassic park and all the overlanding equipment and the trial hunter itself brings back those memories.

I'll start looking for a second job, and start picking popcans out of diitches to afford this when it comes out, The cheapest version will be triple the price of my first toyota 4x4, guess I'll be getting 6mt.

I'd pick a MT Off Road in Underground color with heated seats and heated steering wheel.

    Ranked choices (if they exist)

    1. 6MT TRD Sport with ventilated seats and 6 ft bed
    2. 6MT any grade with 6ft bed
    3. 6MT with 5ft bed

TRD OR will likely be the best bang for the buck if you want to do your own mods.

If I had to order blind today it would be the OR. But pricing will mostly dictate if this is even the right match. Not paying 46-48k for a TRDOR Tacoma when the Tundra is a few k more, 3 years into production and likely available without dealer games.

I’m digging the new look of the PreRunner with the lift and wheels it comes with, and would normally go for that if not for having a kid. That said, I’m going to give it a couple of years to get the kinks worked out and will probably trade in my current TRD Sport for a new one with the hybrid power train. But damn, that PreRunner looks badass.

SR Xtra Cab with MT. This takes me back to the reason I bought these trucks back in the 70s or 80s. (I’d pay extra for roll up windows!) I’m ready to order one now and don’t really care what color. Go Toyota!
