I have a 2011 Tacoma double cab that came with 16" steel wheels; I bought a set of 16" OEM alloy wheels, but they did not come with TPMS sensors. I tried to order new ones from a dealer, but they list 2 different sensors, but I'm not sure which one I need. I'm keeping the steel wheels for my snow tires; Summer tires will go on the alloys. The parts manager said one sensor mounted at a 40 degree angle, and the other 28 degrees, if that helps.

The steel wheel TPMS sensors will work with the alloys, go to discount tire and tell them to rotate them 180 degrees, this method has a few success stories. Another route would be the TPMS straps (also from discount tire) which are relatively cheap.

There is a TPMS listed for 245 series tires, and 265, but they don't specify which is for alloys.
