First post, glad to be on the forum.

I'm planning on turbocharging my truck. There's plenty of kits online, and I had my eyes on the LCE one for a fat minute, until I discovered KO racing made one, and I found some other ones on E-bay. Obviously, cost is the huge factor. I like that KO's is $2k less than the LCE kit, but I want to add an intercooler too, and some kits on E-bay have intercoolers with their kits for less than $2k. Obviously, quality would probably be the reason there's such a dramatic change in price, but I'm not made of money.
Basically, to those who have turbocharged their truck, which kit did you use and why? Which would you recommend?

Seems like most people that want real power build their own. But anything above low boost levels will require more than just a kit, you will need to change the engine management one way or another, Motec or piggyback, better fuel delivery, etc.

Yeah. I'm working on an ECU right now, gonna get it all set up and running before installing the turbo.

You definitely want an intercooler with a turbo. Never heard of the KO racing one, but CX comes oversized for sure unless they changed it. Lmk if you need a compressor graph overlay.
