    I got some TCs and have a 3" lift.. do you think I would have problems rubbing if I got 285s if I dont offroad too much? mostly highway, beaches, snow and camp trails and such. Thanks for the help!

    With 285's I still had to cut a lot of plastic in the wheel wells to prevent rubbing. I didn't personally rub on the cab mount but had it chopped just incase. Depending on the tires you choose and the backspacing of your wheels you could rub pretty bad or barely at all.

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
    I'm at 3 caster with camburg ball joints so I'm not sure about that comparison. I also had to chop the cab mounts with 285 km2's and do lots of trimming. Getting a good alignment shop is key!

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Though the TC's give more Caster, the final adjustments at the bottom can get the tire centered in the wheel well. Stock trucks have about 2.4* of Caster, and when lifted, to 3" for example, have about .6* caster. This puts the wheel further forward (when the suspension cycles downward, the top of the spindle moves forward, thus reducing caster). There is no reason that when useing TC UCA's, the geometry cant be returned to stock specs, or better. My wheels are centered in the well, and Im running TC UCA's, and have never had issues. I belive most of it has do do with the person doing the alignment.

    Don't the Camburgs touch the coils at full droop?

    Or some can even screw your alignment... no manufacturers being mentioned to protect the guilty.:( Just get TC, Icons or Camburgs and you are safe.

    I have had the camburg 1.25 for a few months now and am happy with them..The alignment guy I use is the same guy Camburg uses, he is old school and does everything by hand no computers...The arm you choose is only as good as the person doing your alignment.

    With Camburgs you should be fine on a machine. I found that when it had to be 'handcrafted' it just meant that you were not going to get it close to spec! lol :)
