DSM UCAs are pretty badass, i love mine. Super easy install and they look beefy, not to mention perfect alignment on 3.5" lift

Anybody running CST Billet UCA's? Look like the Icons but my buddy hooked me up at a fraction of the Icon price.

So it seems like there are positives and negatives to all the types, however they are all great products.

However I haven't heard anyone having any issues with alignment when using the LR UCA's. If so, what's the downside of the LR? Strength?

i think those CST UCA's are a fraction of the price because CST just copied Icon and didnt have to do any developing or R&D work. they looks like Icon rips offs

They were a fraction of the price because my company does a fair amount of business with them so they hooked me up for my daily driver. They're normally the similar to the price of Icon's. And I know CST isn't as well known in the Toyota community but I personally prefer CST over Icon. Had the 10" CST kit on our Duramax and the quality surpasses the Icon kit I just got for my friends new Superduty IMO. I know it's a tough comparison (IFS and straight axle). Either way if you like the UCA's, SoCal Supertrucks is where to buy them.

X2 couldn't be happier! Thanks to Chis4x4. I keep the UCA's lubed, and the built in Caster dose wonders compared to stock. No more wandering all over the road like your steering is from some old wore out chevy pickup. TC all the way. Because thats what I have!:D
Oh ya the look F-kin sweet too.! Great product!

I'd go Total Chaos, but that's just because I have the TCs.
I have friends with the Camburg and Icons.
They are all good. Out of those three I'd say go with what you like the look of and what fits in your price range.

Some good competition with TC and others from Icon.

Their billeted arms are the bomb, meaning it would take an IED to break them, and thus perhaps over kill, and twice the price, but a bit more adjustability they claim for alignment.

If i had the cake$ and conditions, Id go with the TC arms. I live in the Northeast and theres lot of road salt. I have LR w/ a sealed up ball joint and have no regrets and no problems.Good product. Crap shoot. Whatever works for ya. My 2 cents.

I have friends who used to work for CST and aquaintences who still do. I've been around their people and they are extremely knowledgeable and focused on making a quality product. To my knowledge, at some point in the past they had designed some stuff for Chevy's and after the product was on the market, they had become aware of some issues; so they just flat out pulled it off the market. If it's not quality, they don't want it out there. They used my truck to design the 2nd Gen. spindle, when I received it the sway bar was no longer compatible. They were ok with it at the time and tell you the truth, I really experience no difference. But some where along the way they decided that just because total chaos didn't run one wasn't good enough for them. So before they ever hit the market, they were completely redesigned. Needless to say I now have a one of a kind spindle.
Point is, I don't know enough about their new billet arms to say they ripped off or what ever. And if they were, I'm not sure how I feel about that exactly. But either way, I can assure you that they're a quality product and would never be afraid to purchase their product.

I've always loved their product and actually went with their 3.5" lift spindle which is in my opinion the top pick in terms of quality and performance. It should be arriving real soon, can't wait.
