    Perkins Performance Sliders, Warn 9000, Brute Force Fab front & rear bumper, OME/Dakar lift, full ATO skids and hi-lift mount, satoshi, Wet Okoles, illuminated 4x4 switch, Diff Breather.

    Those UCAs rock. I have them on my truck. Guess I've never tried the others personally but the dealership had no issues with the alignment specs I requested, no sqeaking, looks awesome, stainless uniball which not all other provide as a default.

    I overheard you can run 35s for some reason on a 3 inch lift with these. When I heard this i thought it was BS. I figured That it would still require TONS of trimming, but the individual (cant remember name) said that they allow more space for a 35 to run. Never heard heard anything like it though

    You end up trimming so much for 35s anyway, that a couple fewer degrees of castor that could be attained wouldn't matter. in fact, in order to adjust the castor to yeild a notacable benefit with the UCA, you would likely decrease the castor to the point that you would have a nearly verticle steering axis, creating less than desirable handling.

    which aftermarket UCA you have is not going to make or brake your effort of fitting 35s.

    the lift height (with the exception of a drop bracket or long travel) also doesn't matter. you have to do the exact same work to fit 35s on a 3 inch lift, and no lift.

    I have 5100's set @ 2.5" and 33s and 1.5AAL and stock UCA's..alignment is decent as in no poor tire wear and it drives straight..but wanders a little at 65...and if its windy out then i get blown all over...would LR UCA's fix all this?

    EDIT: Tires also rub stock UCA at full lock..I have spidertrax just havent gotten to install them yet...would LR's fix that also?

    Thank you for confirming that. I figuered that the tires wouldnt just "magically" fit with those, or everyone would be running them

    purely from a mathematical standpoint, it will move the tire in the right direction, but not much. being that you are adjusting the uca (top of the spindle), and your point of concern (centerpoint of the hub) is near the bottom of the spindle, you get a very small amount of wheel movement for a large adjustment of the UCA. the cost/benefit ratio (ride sacrifice/tire clearance) just isn't very good.

    quite doable though if you have the tools, and don't mind cutting up parts of the truck.

    what do your alignment numbers look like? you could be wandering for a couple reasons. your alignment may not be desirable (UCAs can fix that), or it may just be that lifted trucks are wander and are more succeptable to wind that stock height trucks.

    depending on how oyu set up LR UCAs, they may help with the rubbing issue, but the spidertrax deffinately will.

    Don't remember the numbers..alignment was done awhile ago..I'd say it wanders cuz its a combo of still being on stock UCA's and that I'm lifted...Ideally I'd get the spidertrax installed and LR uca's and hopefully i'd be good to go...just can't really afford the LR's right now...are spidertrax safe? even off road?

    did you have it realigned after the lift? if no, that's your issue. it also could be out of alignment if it was done long enough ago. If your alignment is good, there isn't a handling benefit to aftermarket UCAs. if not used for alignment correction, their benefits are durability, and the ability to cope with the extra travel of an extended travel coilover.

    spidertrax are plenty safe. i (and many others) have been wheeling and towing with mine for 4 years. they've taken many a hard hit, jump, etc over the years and have no signs of fatigue or other damage.

    Yes it was done after the lift, and I haven't done any wheeling or anything that could have knocked it out of aligment since...I really wanna stop the rubbing issue, think I should install the spidertrax, see how it handles and not really worry about UCA's for now?

    the spacers will only get rid of your UCA rubbing. maybe you'd notice increased stability with a 5 inch spacer on each side (no, these don't exist and never should), but you won't know a 1.25'' spacer is there.

    I doubt it :rolleyes:, but thats not too big of a deal for me really. They are supposed to arrive on friday according to the UPS tracking system

    The wheel spacers won't do anything for the wandering, other than potentially making it worse. You're put the tire further away from the axis point, which just creates more leverage. Good call.

    ^X2 Increased scrub radius causes more wondering. I noticed this going from +32 mm offset stock wheels to 0mm Kongis. Going from +32 mm to 0 mm offset is similar to getting 1.25" wheel spacers. In 4WD there's also more torque steer.
