I would like to know where all these stresses are coming from, the only stress applied to the upper bj is side to side stress while cornering and that’s nothing those 4 bolts can’t handle. I think he is thinking that the truck is hanging from the Iva which it isn’t the shock and uca are supporting all the eight of the truck the upper uca is just holding your tire upright

Regarding adjustment for height, I did not. Only adjustments made were from the lower arms for alignment

JBA look like some cheap eBay China parts. Why would anyone ever put those on a $40k+ truck?? Trash. Boxed uppers are where it’s at. I see people with JBA or SPC and immediately lose some respect for them as “truck enthusiasts”.

I'm sure your vast knowledge of UCA makes you the expert with your 44 posts. I dont really care since I dont run either on my truck but the thousands that do would beg to differ. Its like saying I lose respect for those that run Method wheels/BFG's...oh wait.

Yes, I let it settle for a few days and then adjusted both the front coilovers to level side to side height.

    Sleeping thread revive:
Just replaced the JBA UCAs I had on my Tacoma over the last 6 years. Ball joints were shot. They had the old school cup style bushing which allowed dirt and water to enter the joint. Replaced them with Dirt King's newest Ball Joint UCAs. Was able to ditch the .75" spacers since I don't have any clearance issues with the DKs.

I just got these today. $584.10 wasn’t bad for the 4th of July Sale.

hopefully I am able to get a good alignment and fit my 35” tires

I’m planning on getting King 2.5 Ext Adjustable with 650 springs to help lift a full 3” inches

    I already have the CMC
