I wanted to ask all you guys which ultra gauge would be better.
The UltraGauge MX 1.3 has all the standard features except that the MX 1.3 has the added ability to access non-standard manufacturer specific gauges, such as transmission temperature (if supported by the vehicle)
    OR
The UltraGauge EM Plus In Addition to the standard features, the EM Plus has these additions:
I would love to be able to monitor the trans but also the cats, o2 and so on.

So what would be the best bet?

Ultraguage is currently out of stock of their products. Can't keep up with the demand I would guess.

If you really want transmission temps, MX 1.3, if you want performance measurements, i.e. 0-30, 0-60, and lots of others, etc, go EM Plus. Maybe I'm wrong but for $17, if you don't like EM Plus, you can ship it to them and they'll install MX 1.3. I have an EM Plus now. To be honest, if I'm wrong and I can't upgrade, I may trade my EM Plus for an MX 1.3 or if it can be upgraded I may send it in to be converted to MX 1.3.

How easy was it to setup/calibrate? I'm thinking of ordering one for my '09 but it seems like the milage can be a bitch to calibrate to have an accurate reading.

It’s pretty easy to set up and calibrate, I now use mine for the temps of the truck more than the mpg

I have my trucks temps on 1 page of the ultra gauge and mpg info on another , so lately I’ve just been monitoring temps (trans temps mainly) because it’s hot AF here and I want to see what’s the trans has been running at because of it

Right on, I'm mostly just wanting it for mileage and a few temps. Does it have an option to switch to metric from imperial tho? I'm ordering mine to Canada.

No you will select the gauges you want to use when your setting it up , it has a engine temp in farenheight AND a gauge for Celsius, it has a gauge for gallons and a gauge for liters and so on

so it doesn’t have 1 setting to switch from imperial to metric , each imperial gauge has a metric gauge you select instead . Like I’m using all imperial gauges and you would select the equivalent metric gauge instead
