Hey guys new guy here! I am so glad I found this website! Anyways I am having a hard time choosing what wells to go for on my 99 tacoma. Its either between FJ Cruiser wheels or 5 star 4runner wheels. I found a couple of pics of trucks that are the same color as mine with both wheels. Let me know what you guys think, Thanks

Between those two options: the 5 star 4runner wheels and it's not even close IMO

I'm a Sunfire Red Pearl brethren and I am in love with our wheels painted black or the FJ cruiser TRD wheels. Two photoshops of my truck below: edit... can't find the one with the FJ wheels so I just posted a pic of the antracite ones (I'd do that or black IMO)

4runner wheels for sure. 17's just don't look good on 1st gens.

    1st gen = 15-16" wheel
    2nd gen = 16-17" wheel.

As one who tends to be more of an OEM / authentic Toyota owner, I would go with the 4runner 5 stars. They were same time frame and were the top of the line option for the 4runners then.

The FJs just don't look quite right on the 1st gens to me for some reason.

    Good luck with your decision!

Arent the fj's 17"? Tires will be waaay more expensive. I have some optional toyota wheels that were put on sequoias and tundras. They are 5 stars too. I think the 4 runner ones are awesome.
