I have a brand new Prerunner SR5 and I want to change the wheels. I like the TX Pro Faux Beadlock wheels but they're so hard to get and a bit pricey. I also like the Fuel D557 anza's and anything of that style but I really don't know which ones to choose. Trying to stay with the 16's also. Anyone out there have their opinions?

I bought Maverick Ultras for my Access cab and switched over the OEM tires with about 700 miles on the odometer. 30,000 miles on the truck now and no problems with wheels or tires. ...and I like the way they look over the factory steel wheels.

    Regards,
    AL

Your choices are nice but I'm leaning either on 2&3 but most on 3 because of the closeness to the TRD look.

The picture of the SCS wheel with silver lip was a special order. They don't sell them like that anymore and it only comes in 17".

These actually don't fit the tacoma. I looked into them plus the 700 each is a bit high imo

Yeah, I was kinda just kidding around about those weld racing wheels, although they are pretty bad ass they are supper expensive. I still vote methods.

I like the ION ALLOY ones. What size are they? Do they fit the Tacoma? Where did you see them?

I was looking at a set that was a -24, stuck way out from the fender well.

I just bought the ultra mavericks too.
    I like em.
They are a +10 and only stick out maybe an inch from the mud flap.
You have to be careful with that, or sling crap all the way down the side of your truck, or hit the truck when turning?
You need to take that into consideration.

I have the factory 16" OEM tires on an unmodified truck. If you just got the 17" rims, then it's just a matter of swapping tires and TPS monitors.
