I'm new around here and really want to get right down to brass tacks before I go all out on my rear window. Based on your experience, please tell me which window decals will give me the best bang for my buck. I see modded out trucks every day in the campus parking lots. I see XD, K&N, Airraid, etc etc.
Can anyone with experience tell me exactly what each one does? is there a breakdown thread that says the NRA sticker improves the density of the sheet metal by .006" or anything? Maybe the Salt Life decal offers corrosion resistance comparable to the Toyotacare warranty? Maybe the Monster "M" improves intimidation factor when tailing someone?

Idunno, help me out here guys. I only want the BEST for my Taco. Maybe post the best you've seen & what it does?

    Just jerkin around

Ive found that black decals add articulation/trail flex, while white decals add horsepower. Colored decals add torque, but you want to watch out and make sure your transmission can handle colored decals

Generally one of these does pretty good. Granted they aren't the kind that you should throw on without having actually experienced.

Very good points all around. I was thinking of doing aftermarket or trying my luck and maybe making my own decal. If I do, I certainly start a build thread and make a time lapse video with some sick music overdubbed while I install it. Oh, on that note, do you guys install your own decals or take it to a shop?

Don't f*ck around with trying to install your own decals. Bring it to a pro.

Air Force adds no performance. Drop that one. I'm retired AF aircraft maintenance, 21 years, 1 month 4 days. If it ain't in the air, it's a pile of trouble, someone will tell you to work on it. Or the Navy, come on get real, they fly planes and walk on water. Mebbe you are too 'special' with your military service. You did your job. Be proud, but a sticker?

I got a 2014 V6 with a SC, and no stickers at all. I know I got it good, 'nuff for me.

It was a comedy post I know. to the poster.

I have found that calvin pee on stickers make you smarter than the rest and your truck gets a strong sense of strength and power over whatever or whomever it is peeing on

Can't speak for performance, but the sight of many stickers people use causes me to substantially revise the driver's IQ.

    btw, hysterical original post! :D

Just make the damn stickers and maybe we'll buy them. Or use the 'internets' (thanks Al Gore) and find some good ones. Put one on the windshield, or mebbe 15 of them.

WTF? Overdubbed music for a sticker? It's a sticker, it makes no noise..

That's what I was hoping. Are they vinyl? I hear the vinyl decals absorb the power of the Egyptian sun god Ra and it delivers more torque in the sand. Anyone have firsthand experience? I read somewhere that a Rockstar decal will give me +6 additional rwhp if I run it in addition to the TW decal. But both decals have to be properly kerned or else I actually lose both torque and hp.

I saw a Nitrous decal today. Is it just a decal or something you pour in the tank? I saw them in the cooler at a service station. Does the Nitrous decal keep engine temps down or something?
