Are these the Sightlines or the original factory wipers that can have the blades swapped out? They need to be replaced and would like to do the blade swaps just because it’s cheaper. If these are the sightlines I’ll just get new whole wipers. Also, not looking for wiper recommendations, there are plenty of other threads for that!

I believe the ones with the T logo are the replacements. Take the housing with you. I bought OEM replacements and they didn't fit.

Interesting, I assumed this would be an easy question, haha. I found this picture of sightlines for a Tundra and you can see in the picture it does look to have the “sectioned” wiper body. Looks almost like joints of an insect leg. Hard to tell in the photo but I think I see it. I just wouldn’t think these would have the Toyota logo because they’re made by a third party.

I do know that OEM blades do not fit the SightLine arms that I bought at the dealership. The shorter side did slip in but the longer was a totally different dimension. The parts manager was real cool an gave me a new SightLine set off the rack as I had paid for the OEM inserts anyway.

Those are Sightlines and made by Toyota (not a 3rd party). I ditched my originals and started running those as I think they look cleaner. I thought I remember looking at the cost of just doing blade swaps VS just buying all new assemblies, and to me it was more preferable to go with all new assemblies as they install within seconds and not to mention they're fresh looking as opposed to the aged & sun faded units being replaced.

Excellent, thanks! I ordered a new pair off eBay. And yeah, I hear you about the sun faded-ness. In looking online it’s only like $10 difference so I agree it’s not really that worth it. I hear the Sightlines are a better wiper anyway.

    Thanks for the posts everyone!

If I recall, the originals actually had metal black painted frames/housings and I seem to remember the black fading/wearing off leaving the wipers assemblies looking like turds. And yes, the Sightlines did seem to be a better wiper, both in aesthetics (cleaner / more modern looking) and performance.
