Sorry for the newb towing question.
I need to rent a trailer this weekend and was told that the trailer has the basic 4 wire flat harness.

My truck 09 TRD with factory towing package has the round plug in the back of the truck.
Not sure if I need to buy a 6:4, 7:4 or something else to connect up to the trailer.

    Any help appreciated.

They should have an adapter for the round truck socket (7 pin) to a 4 pin flat trailer connector most auto parts places and such.

The trailer probably only has brake lights/turn and tail lights only (if it's only a 4 pin harness), so probably will be no electric brakes on the trailer.
