I see more quicksand Sports than inferno in my area. On another note, red or white cause me to give a Tacoma a second glance to see if it is a Pro. Cement should be a Pro unless someone repainted their 3rd Gen.

That is sort of true except the value of the VW turn in is based on mileage. I am about to roll over to where I will lose $1000 on the turn in and it is not worth it to do so, therefore, I can just buy a Taco now. Also, keep in mind, its not like you just go on and schedule your turn in date, I thought it was that easy until I wen to schedule it and realize the next appointment is 8 weeks away which is now 3 weeks out. Ive had to baby the mileage because I thought I could just go on, schedule my turn in for something like two days later but it wont let you. Appointments are few and rare.

Instead of "Which color is more rare" the real way to think about this is "which color is less common".

need to learn more about this stuff

You can drive up to 1,000 miles a month and it won't change your reimbursement. So as long as you stay under that your money won't change. That's why I am keeping mine until I get the taco and maybe a bit longer because it's a free car right now. Only worry I have is somebody hitting me.

Here in WA I have yet to see another inferno. I've seen multiple quicksands, including a neighbor's.

I love both colors. Really wanted inferno to start with but ended up with DCLB quicksand sport and I love it now. My area is saturated with inferno I've seen as many as five on our local lot at one time. Haven't seen a single quicksand sport local in my area yet but I'm sure it will happen. Good luck but get what you like.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
I see tons of both the QS's and the "Infernals" around here in Missouri -- you see all the other colors as well --EXCEPT what I wanted, and did order, BBP (Blue)! I think these all go out to the western states

I would pick quicksand over Inferno between those colors but I like My MGM better than all of the colors out there.

Personally I think the Quicksand looks cool with black wheels and accessories. I think maybe the guys that served in Iraq and Afghanistan really are drawn to that color because that color more matches the vehicles over there...Just my humble opinion though.. It looks bad-ass.

But I like the inferno because it's an exciting color.

Op both colors are nice, but I bet the trump will get more looks, do you want folks looking at you all the time? Quicksand will get its looks, but does not stand out as much. Good luck. If you got 3 weeks left, get to those dealerships so you can have a few walk outs and help get the price down.

This is the reason why I DIDN'T get it. Do I need to be reminded on a daily basis of driving our POS humvees we had in the desert? lol. I like inferno because it looks kind of like a subdued pumpkin/red color, but really *pops* in the sunlight, which here in WA, is not very often during 2/3 of the year.

I love both colors. I was really torn between them when we ordered our 17. However the inferno just looks too bad ass in the sun to pass up.
Besides im not tacticool enough to let my truck match my firearms.

In my area, the dealershits do not order the OR's or access cabs or short boxes... They get TRD Sport and Limited, etc... But the guys around here are not "off roaders"..
I don't think you can get a TRD Sport in QS colour.... I have not seen 1 of them since last Oct when I bought my Inferno.... It's a cool colour, but not to my liking.... My last TRD sport 2006 was a silver. Great colour... I needed a change... there were about 20 of them around town.... this time I said I wanted to have something a little different.... I got the 1st truck off of the transport at the dealer last fall and they got another one right away... I went "oh shit", everybody is gonna copy me now.... But thank Dog, the guy who bought that one was from 2 hours away.... I'm still the only Inferno for within a 100 KM radius... everybody knows it's me...
That could be good or bad.... not sure yet.. hehe

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
But he's gotta be the coolest guy at the truck meat.

Something about quicksand, in my opinion only looks good on the off road because of the black fender flares. That makes or breaks that color on a tacoma for me.
