lol...the guy that bought my stock suspension pulled up outside and my wife said "There's a baby Tacoma outside" -- I was so proud of her.

I take it back. The only person who has checked out my truck was the service advisor at the Mazda dealer, whenever we drop the car for it's maintenance. He wants to talk Tacoma everytime he sees it. That, however doesn't count.

The guy stares at Mazdas all day. It's like when a parolee who isn't even in street clothes yet checks out your girlfriend.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
It’s because the FJ80 is by far Toyotas most badass off-road machine. Last of the straight axle beasts! Out of all the LCs I have owned, it was by far the most capable.
Then the 100 series came out and everyone wanted the v8. Not me, I don’t like changing CV axles so much on the trail.
The 80 would just straight up take the beating and drive me home.

Remember when third gen first came out..... how fugly we thought it was? Well it still is ugly....and nobody but a thief or another Toyota owner is looking at it.

You get people asking to buy it?

I get both, but it's annoying when I'm with my wife and we're hurrying up to get something done or hurrying up to get out of there.

Every once in a while. It's out of commission since I have to put timing chain guides on it. The previous owner didn't take care maintenance that great. But the suspension is good and set up for rock crawling. But I could get 12-15k for it since it's triple locked. Have you done anything to yours?
