Yes, i hear something of a hum when driving; it's not horribly loud but definitely audible.

I will give this a try and check back. Thanks

    OME and worth every penny.
Tires make a hum cutting air, bigger treads are louder. If your low it bounces off concrete and gets even louder. If I didn't hear a metallic sound and driving didn't cause a vibration, I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't hear anything abnormal. Like I said though, my ears may be bad at whatever range your hearing something.
If you're talking about the sound from :20-50 in last video.....that's just tires humming.

so i did this. I don't hear any difference with or without the locker engaged. of note, the diff locker light blinks after I engage the button. is this normal?

i hate to say it, since i replaced the wheel hub in part based on this noise, but I think Crux is correct that it may have been tire noise all along. at least I can now change those axle seals with my eyes closed...

Believe me it freaked me out the first time I heard it it too. Luckily, I had no problem and was just goofing around.

If the light is blinking it's not locked. Prob. hard to do in the air.
