Hi everyone, I notice that every time I turn my steering wheel to the left there’s a whining sound that stays around for a bit even once driving down the roaD. It only happened when I take wide left turns and it lingers for a bit then goes away.

Sounds like possibly a wheel bearing failing, raise the front wheels off the ground and check for play or noise when you spin them.

I'll second the wheel bearing. Although, after several attempts to prove to myself that it was the wheel bearing (and justify the cost of replacement) I couldn't hear any noise from spinning the wheel, nor could I notice any play in the wheel if I tried to move it around. I eventually ruled out a list of other things, and finally replaced the front bearings... and my suspected bearing issue disappeared.

Doesn’t sound like a wheel bearing failing it’s more of a noise that starts once I fully turn the wheel to the left.

Have you checked your power steering fluid level?

I'd just replace them and cross 'em off the list. Pull the spindles and take 'em somewhere if you don't have a press. Parts are like around $200-250, shop charge can range from $160-250... If you let a shop do the whole job, it'll be $1000-$1400.
