wow...i am jealous. i wish i had the time and money to make that trip. even though my truck is stock, i think i could have almost kept up based on these vids. looks like a lot of fun was had. if you do make it an annual thing, i might try to make it up next year. i'm working on getting my wife into offroading as well, that way she will understand the need for things like armor, winch, and more ground clearance

IT was an amazing trip! Whipsaw was good to us - no recoveries and weather was perfect.

Even the bugs weren't as bad as I'd heard - but then again, I think they all attacked Bluesteel...

This is the spot where I found out my transfer case shield is stronger then my transfer case....

I took the same line, but hit my transfer case on the second rock.

Good to see you all had fun on the trip!

I took a gnarly knock to my tranny crossmember at the rocks sticking out of the ground right after that little section.

Hopefully should have an offroad rig built up for next year. Definitely don't want to miss out twice on this ride.

From what I've heard and seen, you need good tires and at least a small lift to tackle a lot of it.

For the most part, stock truck will make it. There's usually bypasses on the harder stuff. Stockers will scrape some though, thats for sure.
At the minimum, good all terrain tires are needed since there are lots of rocks!

Most of the trail is ok. Wide enough, but some sections had overgrown branches that we had to plow through.
