My name is Brandon and I have a problem. I have no patience...

I staged my Texas bottles for a quick pic figuring it wouldn't hurt. I'm sure it's fine to leave them up there without damaging the poly but I'll be good and leave the bottles off for another day or so.

    20200527_152432.jpg

Overall I'm very happy with the results. It's not perfect, but it doesn't need to be. It looks badass and holds my home state distillery bottles with ease. Now my wife is coming up with projects for me to tackle now that I have a tiny bit of experience

Hey @trekker just curious how far away from the wall does it sit? Any chance of some backlighting with some LEDs?

(If you keep working on your projects you won't have time for "honey do" projects)

    Thanks guys!

Oh I've already thought that one out lol

The awesome thing about the cleats is it allows for easy backlighting, and I'll likely add it when I have a bar type space to put this thing and not in the office/spare bedroom. It's on a split 2×6, so there's a solid 1.5" from the wall to the back of the display

Hopefully we can inspire a few more people! Haha

Hopefully you saved that cardboard template... I'm betting you'll get some of those other Texas peeps wanting one of their own!

Yep I've still got it. I thought about posting it up in my neighborhood fb group, but I'd much rather it go to a fellow TW member if they want it.

Would be pretty cool to cut one out of metal, too!

That’s pretty slick looking. Should make a few and sell them is what I think he’s saying. :)
