haha! For sure!! If you have a motorcycle, bring it with! Tons of amazing and beautiful roads to ride!! The tail of the dragon is fun and a must to say you've done it. But there are many other absolutely stunning roads out there! The Blue Ridge Parkway is one and then all the national park roads are phenomenal as well! I have to say it's a completely different experience on a bike than in a car.

Hope you guys aren’t getting slammed like my friend has been. It’s hard on them they have to hazmat suit up, disinfect themselves and the ambulance after runs. Lots of extra work now.

Our protection level depends on the patient of course.. but minimum PPE is gloves, mask and eye protection. It hits a little different when it's a volunteer service and different people come to each call.

The past 18 years I've been on.. we've always struggled to attract people who want to volunteer.. now we have ask them to not hang out the station etc.. it's a struggle!

    IMG_20200331_163708.jpg

For all the people who are supposed to be staying home we sure are busy at the FD... Today.. on a clear straight road a couple managed to cross the road at 50mph plus and hit a freaking pole!

I've been dragging my feet... I've gotten most of the fabrication done.. sanded the whole thing down and prepped for a new paint job.. and waiting on a few things to arrive before putting it back together. Once this is set.. it might be time for the Whiskey Room to become a thing!

Yea.. just a little hand held one . I like the results tho.. the glass bottles scratched the heck out of the metal shelves so I thought I'd try something new.

Thanks dude.. I've picked up a couple of new bottles to store in it too! I wanted to have a wood piece for the bottom but it's just not gonna work .. the bottom shelf bottles are too tall haha.
I was thinking maybe a piece of felt.. but I'm always open to new ideas

How about a nice thin piece of like luan wood? Give you the wood loom but thin to not take away from the needed height.

Was also thinking like an old JD whiskey barrel head for the handles on the door. Split it in half.

All great ideas!! I've got a plan for the doors.. but that's a good back up plan if the first doesn't work out
