My 2014 AC makes the whistle noise driving at 70mph + sometimes. It's definitely the door/window seal in my case. Roll the window down and the noise goes away, put pressure on the door (like with my elbow) and it goes away. Irritating but not so much i've taken any action on doing something about it.

I used an air compressor and shot air across the windshield and was able to duplicate the sound without driving or waiting for a windy day (about 100 psi). It was helpful at pinpointing the source and would be good suggestion at the dealership.

I have a 2015 4dr TRD with 6000 miles on it. Mine makes this exact same sound. Scared the s*** out of me the first time it happened. Took a 4 hour road trip a few weeks ago and it did it almost the whole time. Its embarrassing when you have people in you're brand new truck it makes noises like this.

i must redact that the kazoo sound is from the windshield. After doing my mod to the door seals i have not heard the noise sense.

I can confirm the weather strip fix (from autozone) works. I did this about 2 weeks ago- My truck used to make the god awful kazoo wind noise every day on the highways. Since putting in the extra padding in the front window seals, truck has been back to normal. Even drove into the plains of windy Oklahoma last weekend with insane crosswinds, and no more kazoo! I will post some photos of where I put the adhesive stripping in the front window seals for clarification on what worked for me.

So great loving my truck again.

8500 miles on a 2013? makes me feel like I drive my late 2015 model to death with 10000 on her.

I placed the sticky side towards rubber seal. Started it from front by mirror area where seal starts to top rear of door like on 2nd picture.

Material I bought was little over half inch so I trimmed it a bit so it wouldn't stick out past door and be visible. About 3/16 or so.
    Hope the pictures help.

3/16 trim, that's how much I removed with scissors.

I might as well post some pics of mine too.

Here is the main channel of the door seal with the weatherstrip in it (near top of pic). The weatherstrip looks haggard because I cut it up trying other fixes. Works all the same.

    20160223_161259.jpg

Here's another angle showing the outer channel where I put the screen spline. (Spirally black material between seal and door)

    20160223_161420.jpg

I don't think the screen spline makes a difference as I only have it on the driver side and not the passenger. Neither one makes noise anymore. I'm leaving it there nonetheless.

Really I think all you need is some kind of foam material or similar, roughly 1/4 inch thick stuck in that big main channel to help tighten the seal up. Shouldn't need adhesive either, mine doesn't have any and hasn't moved since putting it in. Probably depends on what you use though.

Hahahaha, I thought I ran over a seal when I first heard it, only at fast speed and in a crosswind. I have a 2015 TRD double cab, annoying as hell, and at 2am when your falling asleep at the wheel it'll definitely wake you up! hope they can come up with a fix. kamdawg thanks for the video of it. :amen:
