I had white letters out (BFG A/T KO's) on my stock Sport wheels and liked the look (on SW Taco). Once I threw on the SCS Stealth 6's (Matte Dark Bronze) and KO2's, went black out FOR SURE!

I was looking at BFG's but went with Coopers. I too debated white in or out. I flip flopped and went laces out. I'm happy with the decision:

Not trying to start a shit storm, but the aspect in this photograph makes the truck look like it has a hamper for a box, something like a Sport Trac.

Hey! I resemble that remark... and mine are black out.

I agree with others here and am not quite sure where the owner is going with this build. Very expensive off road bumpers, winch, and Icon suspension, but mall crawler wheels and dinky plastic steps.

    White in.

Seems like white out would be impractical in actual off road used vehicles?

Maybe all these threads we see regarding mild lifts, bigger tires and shiny paint really are just street rats.

White out looks good on vehicles of the era they were conceived (60's) when they are mounted on OE sport wheels. Even on those cars, aftermarket wheels (like Cragar SS) get the blackwall out.

To the over 55 wisecrack guy. Just because it's remembered doesn't mean its today's choice. Just hope you can live as long and be able to enjoy as much as many do. I can't really think of a good reason to roll back the clock, even if I could. I have no reason to repeat the mistakes you are now making ;)

Black out, white letters in, then spray painted black so you can't see the white lettering from the other side.

Better yet...Find some tires that don't have white letters.

perhaps a build in progress? dunno, it looks cool. maybe some sliders and KO2's are coming for xmas (maybe not)? rims dont matter too much as long as you dont mind getting them "scratched".

That's what I'm thinking... it's his $ and his truck .... or he just uses the winch to tear out ATM's at the mall :notsure:

I wasn't criticizing, it just appears to be an odd mix of grunt, glamour and bling.
(I wonder where the sunroof came from? I'll check his build if he has one.)

    Something for everyone....

... and BTW, white in, but there is some good examples of white out in this thread.

I have to clean my white letters often so it looks good. I wish I had gotten black wall out. The picture is when the tires are brand new and clean.
