So I’m gonna do some more body repair on my 97 and i was wondering if anyone knows the paint codes for 97 and 96’s colored in white. My truck is actually a two tone because of the previous owner rebuilding a lot of it after a front end collision, and it isn’t just one color of white. I’m wondering how many different types of white their was on the 96’s and 97’s because my truck is made up of white panels from both years.

    thanks yall

Also am considering maybe repainting the whole truck one shade of white so that all the panels match. Just need to find out what white is the most common on my truck so that I don’t have to paint as much

I believe there was only one white offered 95 thru 98. Code 045.

The code is on sticker on door jamb.

That's just poor paint match. Been wrecked and re-sprayed at some point?

Yeah it had front end damage in a collision before but he rebuilt the front can’t see why he would only need a new passenger door. I’ve done repair on the bedside before and I found a paint match for that. I’ll get some more pictures I’m about to go wash it

Best I can describe as it looks like some of my paint has lost its clear coat or it wasn’t clear coated when it was resprayed in the first place. Also I know I have a 96 hood as well as a few fenders probably but I’m not sure why it is a more solid white compared to a yellowish one

It's hard to match paint 100%. And over time things fade different ways making the difference even more noticeable.

That said....your rig started life out as 045

welp time to rob a paint shop and hold them at gunpoint while they paint my truck because I don’t want to spend 2000$ getting it painted
