I have a lot of white spots (looks like fungus?) in the plastic moldings thats just around below the window and the one that goes around the back glass in my Taco.

Any ideas how I can buff these out or get them off somehow? If not, could I paint them somehow? Remember that they are plastic and seems like a pliable material and not solid like in other trim parts.

    Thanks in advance! :p

Hmm. Im surprised no one else apart from us two, seem to have this problem. Every Toyota vehicle here in Puerto Rico has it. Only Toyotas though :(, must be the plastic they use.

There was a thread a few days ago from someone else with the same problem, Mine are Ok so far, I use Aerospace 303 on it since day 1 and I'm in PR also, but the truck is only 1 year old. I will probably use the Aerospace 303 more often after reading this.

Lol. I asked a car saleman, silly me right?, and he just said:

Yeah, that happens to all Toyotas. I can get you all 4 mouldings (lower parts) for about $100 give or take.

    :censored: <--- My reaction...
