    Here's an idea,
Why not paint the tires white and the wheels black....
Nah! Leave the wheels chrome and paint the tires white. About the same effect as painting the wheels black....:D

    Polished aluminum or maybe chrome.

Sometimes chrome can be too much, depending on the rim, and black looks like you are either a young kid or between jobs.

Black or chrome would look good with white. You need to think down the road to your other mods to pick the color. Example, if you plan on blacking out the headlights I would go black, if not go with the chrome.

Couldn't have said it better. If you want to buy black ok, but unless it's just a cheap steel wheel, leave it the way it is.
And blacking out the headlights ain't a reason to paint a wheel. The headlight thing stands alone.
    Just my two cents. K:cool:

    Neither! Painted silver.

Or go with polished. Chrome is too blingy and everyone is going with black these days.

black looks aggressive (if you dont mind that look) and chrome makes it look more showy imo but my preference is black on a white taco

I love both looks!! I had 33" BFG mud terrains on for the last 4 years, now I'm going with the street tires/chrome rims summer and hard core winter tires/stock rims for the Winter, Canadian winter. *The mud terrains suck in winter !!!!
    No pics yet, but soon.

I hate Chrome , So much that I took the bumpers, grill and trim off and replaced with black or painted it black. I hate Chrome. The only chrome on the truck is some bolts, nuts and screws, and I want to get rid of the chrome on those pieces.
