Hey guys I want to get some new wheels. I have a 2005 Tacoma TRD sport Super White. I am having a hard time choosing between chrome or black rims. Should I just powder coat my rims?

    Post your choice of rims!

Where is a good place to buy? and What size bolt pattern? I have the 17 inch sport rims.

Method Race Wheels Fat Five in Matte Black. The matte black contrasts with the super white so well! I just purchased a set and I am sooo stoked on them.
    The size I purchased was 17x8.5 6 on 5.5
Not too sure about Maryland but 4wheelparts is a great place to look for wheels as they generally have a nice selection and will "work" with you on the final price normally.

I'd go with black. Are you staying with a 17" wheel?

What backspacing is stock on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport with the 17 inch wheel?
If I want to go a little bit wider(maybe an inch) what backspacing is good? Also what size wheel will fit?

I am confused on what will fit and what won't. Help me out!

I would recommend PVD Chrome if you decide to go with chromed wheels. PVD or also called winterchrome is super durable comparing to a regular chrome. I had a set 5 years ago PVD Chrome on my working Tacoma..still looks great!;)

not trying to hijack your tread, but I am looking to buy a 2003 Tundra 4x4.[IMG] I
The rims/tires will have to be changed because I am looking to give it the more aggressive look and the current rims are ate to crap...I have researched the method race wheels below
    [IMG]

Do you guys think these would look good on the truck? I am planning on adding a runner, step up bar. Tinting all the windows, changing out the inside trim (to black), and adding a sound system with Pioneers avic-z130bt Any comments or suggestions?

    Thanks guys.

I'd go with black over the chrome personally. I like simple designs like this too:

I think those wheels would look good too on either the OP's Tacoma or your Tundra.

Here's what I have on my Tundra:
