3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
Gonna see if I can find them! IF they turn out anywhere as good as yours it'd be great!

As usual looks like you were super meticulous and did a sic job painting and sealing them... With that said I don't like how they look on the truck... To me from a distance it almost looks unfinished, like there's bulbs just stuck in a recess.... Just not MY cup of tea... Sic work though, truck still look mean...

Thanks brother and no worries :)

I get what your saying. If I'm honest I didn't know if I would like it or not. But I personally really ended up liking it.

Couple of new pictures in the sun. Couldn't ask for it to match much better.

Ordered LED'S all the way around so the orange bulb will soon be replaced.

Now you're screwed. Once I was running LEDs and cleared housings I never wanted any color back when lights were off

Yeah, that's why I like these. You can't see them when behind the truck since they blend in. I especially love the front since they are amber / white.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I keep staring at the white out's thinking how different they look, but at the same time how awesome they are.

    Well done OP!

    Thank you :)

It really doesn't stand out as much as you might think. I did them 3-4 months ago and I never really think about them. They just kind of match the rest of the truck.

What did you do for hyper flash? I have hyper flash now, I really don't want to splice resistors into all four corners of the truck. But, I'm not sure if anyone makes a replacement relay like they do for the 05-11

Bought a entire set from CSjumper on here. You have to use a resistor so you don't get the hyperflash.

I bought my individual LEDs from superbrightleds.com. Older trucks can swap in a lower voltage 8 pin relay. The newer Tacoma uses a 12 pin relay, no one makes a lower voltage one yet. I guess I'll just have to suck it up and splice in the resistors :(

Probably a silly question and super late, but did you find any step on how to paint them or was it kinda whatever you liked type thing? Deciding if I should DIY or buy from somebody

I was off sick with stitches in my thumb and bored. I originally was going to paint them black but thought white might look pretty cool. You can buy the black ones pretty much everywhere and most are just fine. I just wanted something different. Someone on here did the same thing I did but painted theirs black. I semi followed his method but just painted the white instead. You need a lot of time and patience.

Haha definitely sounds as though you spent enough time on it. How many coats of gloss why paint did you use and did you use any primer or anything? I think this will be a weekendish mission for me :crapstorm:

It's really kind of a long process. You can't bake the taillights like you can the headlights. I had a extra set of OEM lights sitting in my attic since I had bought a set of Anzo black taillights for the 2011 and let them go with the truck. I figured if I screwed them up I've lost nothing but time (which I had plenty of at the time) and some paint.

You have to cut the lens off with a dremel tool. There is a notch between the housing and the lens and about 1/8" of glue that holds the lens onto the housing. That is actually the hardest part because you have to be careful not to cut into anything but the glue. Once the lens is removed you just tape off everything you don't want painted and go to town. Let it dry and then take a small amount of epoxy and glue the lens back in place and let it dry (24 hrs or so). After that I took some 3M sealant and went around the edge of the housing where it meets the lens and let it dry (24 hrs again). I did this 3 times to make sure there were no leaks so it took about 4 days to complete it. Once you are sure you have it sealed up there is one final step. Tape off the entire outside of the light with the exception of about 1/4" all the way around. Paint that area with flat black paint to cover up where you made your cuts and the sealant showing through the lens and it is complete. I've had them like this for over a year and a half and no leaks and no problems. I "personally" like how they turned out.

:EDIT: Forgot to mention. Yes I did use primer before painting.
