That army green Tacoma with the summit wheels powder coated white is the reason I think I want to go with white.

The original white wheels were 17" TRD Pros and I could fit Kenda 35s without a problem.

    20220206_094116.jpg

Now the truck has a set of SCS GEN5 installed and the offset is different enough the Kendas scrape with almost any amount of wheel turn and articulation. The TRD SEMAs were +4 offset and the GEN5s are -10 which is a 14mm difference.

Apparently I never took a picture of the truck with the SCS installed so I'll grab a shot before Saturday when the Kendas are replaced with some 34" MT Baja Boss.

What size lift? I have the factory TRD 2” lift. I’m thinking 285/70 won’t rub if I stick to a zero or positive offset.

Thanks, I’m really liking the look myself. It turned out like I envisioned it. To be honest the truck in post #10 was a motivating factor.

Damn, I might have to re-think the covers on my steelies. Maybe spray them white?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
You do it first then I’ll do it. Now, if I can only find that 4th cover. I’m game

Hi OP, did you end up getting one of the white wheels above? I am contemplating to powder coat my wheels too. I like the enkei cyclone.

Apparently I never took a good photo of the truck with the white SCS Gen5, but here is a bad one.

Swapped those out since the offset did not play nice with 35" tires and am currently running some white FJ steelies.

Eventually I'll buy a new set of Gen5 with the correct offset and just get them coated white since they do not seem to ever produce a -10 offset in white.

I saw Tacoma not sure where but it had wheels and badges white out. It did look strange usually people blacken out badges. After looking at it for awhile it sort of grew on me. just saying whatever turns your crank.

Your 35s don't rub the UCA with 35s? Not that you're looking, but we do have the F5 light gray in 17x8.5 -10mm :anonymous:.

4WP was able to adjust the SPC UCA to avoid rubbing while maintaining a correct alignment. Right now my plan is to buy -10mm Gen5 and have them blasted/coated like I did with the FJ steelies. The white Gen5 look so sharp!
