It will also set a nice hole in my wallet lol. I think I'm looking at about $1100 or so for what I want.

Hmm...If and when I decide I need an upgrade from my 95, I almost want a truck that looks very similar to yours! I love that style of front bumper, and also the side rails, wheels tires and everything. I gotta have at least 5 years with her though first :)

Ive always been so dead set against ever getting a newer taco, but I guess I just saw it in a new light as corny as fuck as that sounds ^_^
I honestly don't care for many of the double cabs. Even in 1st gen they look weird stock. I used to really hate them but since being on TW I see more I like. I just hate how their beds are so short usually. Wtf can you even put in them?? My quad HARDLY fits in my current taco. It would never fit in a newer one.

It seems there are not many newer access cabs around here (or maybe I just dont see them) but Im actually really liking the look.

I got the AC for the longer bed to fit dirt bikes and have the extra room behind my seats. I love the look of the AC but sometimes I kind of wish I had the four doors and more seats. I also thought about finding an older taco and building it up but kind of started throwing shit on this one and it was too late.

I just saw a sticker the other day on a gay integra that said "4 doors for more whores" lolllll.

I like having so little space. My dog fits, and thats all I need really. No way in hell I need or want kids right now at all so that part isn't an issue either. I got a camper shell, which I hate some days...but its there if I need to really use it, and so far I havent. Its only for the dogs.

I used to have a car with 4 doors and what I noticed is that no one asks me for rides now, and I love that because it was getting ridiculous.

Do you think you will get one with 4 doors eventually?

Honestly I'm thinking that when I finish school and am lucky enough to get a decent job I want to just buy another different car that's got more room and is more gas friendly. Right now this thing is perfect for me because it gets me from point A to point B and I can play around with it. No kids on the horizon so I'm not worrying about room either. The only time I really wished I had four solid seats was last time I went on a wheeling trip and only my dad was able to go. I didn't have room for another friend that wanted to tag along since the back seats suck and I had stuff back there anyways. The back "seats" on the AC do make a good spot for a dog, though. I've seen people just build a little wooden platform so it's one solid platform and they just throw a carpet on top.

You're going to need a bigger bag. This threads going nowhere right now. Like I said next big update is for my rear locker and gears. That's at least a few months out :( I'm working on finding a suitable plastic or rubber that I can mold in to my fender well area. I don't like the big open gap I currently have and am looking to fix that.

The silver shiny things that are stuck on my blocks lid? They came with it [IMG]

Looks like someone opened your package and stole the stickers :spy: I ordered mine from Amazon and they were sealed up with my fuse block. Maybe you threw them away on accident?

I've just read a bunch of threads on replacing LCA bushings and stuff and I think that's on the to do list now. I'm getting an alignment Wednesday since my truck's been steering a bit to the right and my old tires had uneven wear on them. After that I'm going to order new bushings (OEM or are there better aftermarket ones??) and new cam adjusts. Stupid bushings are $50 :|

I'll try that tomorrow before my alignment. Even if it's not seized, it's about time to replace them isn't it?

Well I plan on installing TC cam tab gussets. I figured I'd replace the bushings while I had everything apart anyways.
    Oh and 35k miles :)

Went up to a local spot (MET) to play around with my buddy today and test out the new tires and they worked great.

Whether that's safe or not, I would still ask for a replacement or refund.

Eh, I am going to just swap this one out to my spare tire. Dealing with tryin to get a new one would be annoying. Besides, all five look like this to some degree. This one is just the worst. It still holds air two weeks later with no leaks but I haven't aired it down and bashed it around yet.

Got these in today. Hoping to get some time tonight and tomorrow to try and find a placement for the radio that I like. More than likely it's going to have to go by the passenger feet or something.

Started messing with my CB stuff today. I'm going to mount the radio horizontally through my rear cup holders in the center console. The back panel just pops out but won't fit back in without modification. I'm either going to cut the back panel so the CB pops through it or try and get some bondo stuff or something to cover the big hole back up.

^ You can see you'd have plenty of room to pop a CB in there so long as you don't buy the massive ones.

^ I plan on routing the coax through there and along the other cables. Not sure if the fat end of the cable is going to fit through the grommet with all the other wires already passing through it.

    EDIT:

Ran all the wires I needed. The coax is going to be a very tight fit as it looks to be just enough to plug into the back of the radio. I'm still waiting on one part that I need to full hook everything up but tomorrow I plan on cutting the cup holder area and mounting the CB. Maybe the PA horn as well if I have time after school.

CB update-I finished cutting up the cup holders to mount the CB and I'm digging how it looks. I just need to drill some holes to mount the bracket and finish all the wiring/tuning. I'm waiting on the 18' firering coax cable to come in since that other screw on connection type plug didn't fit with my relentless mount. Should have known that just by eyeballing but I wasn't paying attention.

Still deciding on what to do with the exposed backend. I'm thinking making a little cardboard mold or something and slapping some bondo over it or something. That or I just cut out a huge rectangle from the original cover and slap that back on. :\
