Who all slings mud in their tacos?

I did you use one, but heck I'm very meticulous with the look so I took literally piece I could see and used degreaser and scrubbed it too

 

Wow you really like it clean, i dont mind if its hanging off of stuff but i always try to make sure i get the mud cleaned up when its in or on top of something because that will create rust and i really dont want any of that

 

I figure the mud might stiffen the frame, create a concrete like structure.

For real though, I've spent a fortune at the wash before.

Just an FYI there is an oldscholl thread called soggy taco's about basicly the same thing and it has a TON of good shit in it.

tis very wet mud hole aftermath ..... similar to this ...thats all we got down here. 2 trucks couldn't budge BGR out of the suction. needed 16k worth of winch power to drag him out the whole time it was sinking. I assume if he had no sliders it would of sunk deep....they seemed to slow it down

 

Damn dude. That's some swamp ass mud. We got some of that here and I try my hardest to avoid it. Smells fuckin nasty and gets in everything

 

yes it does. so far it kills at least one truck out of every run we make. most people won't come back to our trails after one time.

My list of new parts I have had to replace on my 08':

starter
tie rods
wheel bearings
LCA bushings
LCA ball joints
4.0 V6 engine
pulleys
ac clutch

you gotta pay to play and yes it can get $$$$. luckily I learned a ton from TW and am doing/done all of it myself except the starter because I tried to get Toyota to cover that under warranty. They denied the claim so I ate the $860 and learned a lesson. .........Don't wheel hard/stupied on Sundays - parts shops closed early and must drive to work on Monday.

Yeah exactly. I've been on both ends numerous times and judging by what other people's faces look like when they get stuck in headlight high water, I'm pretty sure mine looked the same. Haha
