    Are you serious? Or just jokin? Cause if serious, I've personally seen 3 motors hydrolock from WOT and hitting mud/water holes at a good amount of speed. That is NOT the way to go through a water hole. Haha now a mud hole is a lil different but you shouldn't be hittin those at 40mph either. If you're for real then damn that sucks dude

    Motor's not locked, the day after that pic it threw a ton of codes and started to idle rough, codes related to cyl 2,4,6 misfire, camshaft/crankshaft position sensors. So it could be a fried ECM, coil/plug issue, dirt in the oil clogging the OCV's, or timing chain skipped a tooth, it's a tricky one to troubleshoot

    Wasn't going that fast, just a little too much wheel spin

    Is there any way to prevent hydrolocking other than a snorkel while playing around in the mud?


    I was freaking out at one point when I was pretty stuck just thinking about sucking water up :(

    I wouldn't worry about it that much. U need a decent amount of water sucked in all the way into your motor to hydrolock it. That's why WOT is dangerous. The combination of speed and the amount of air being sucked in at WOT can force a significant amount of water in the motor while it's working it's very hardest. If it means anything to you, I have a CAI and mud and deep water cross all the time and I rarely seem to get the filter wet. Obviously a CAI is not ideally what you want but it also doesn't mean u will fuck something up
