I keep rpms up pretty good so belts ok, cv boots and axle seals, well somethings gotta give when you push em hard. I tell my honey we lookin for the weakest link. I dont think she buys it but she plays along and laughs it off. Probly less than half of stock class is on the road, less than half of that are daily drivers. I get to drive my lil trophy truck every day!

I used to play in the mud until I had to replace my axle seals, all the belts, and all the pulleys....no more mud for me. I'll only go through the thick stuff if I need to rescue a friend

This time of year, its about getting to the elk, which means taking those seldom travelled roads to nowhere and then heading out on foot. We have had a wet year, so that means some muddy wallows. It can be a fun test of truck and driver. The worst part is trying to get the crap out of every little nook and cranny afterwards. I am still looking for a more efficient way to clean out the under carriage.DSCN0122.jpg

We are coming out of a long drought, so the rain is very welcome this year. And, with my winch, a ground anchor, multiple straps and snatch blocks, I'm not concerned with getting stuck.
