I ordered ballistic canvas (whatever that is) seat covers and may add a tonneau cover one day. def not messing with the suspension. Just sounds like too many headaches down the road.

so far all I have done is add vent visors, floor mats, seat covers, bed cover and upgraded audio system. I may add a little bigger tire size and rims when my original tires wear out but not sure I will add anything else, 95% of my driving is highway and the only time I get to 4 wheel a little is when we go back to PA every year around Christmas to visit family and hunt. but maybe some drive on areas at the beach since we have a house near Wilmington. these trucks are very capable without doing all the other stuff unless you are a serious 4 wheeler and this is my daily driver...

Every fuel up my truck has taken is in the fuelly link in my sig.

I average 21-22 in the winter, and about 24-25 in the spring/summer mos. Best FULL tank is 26 mpg, best partial is 27.1mpg (332mi). The 27.1 was just a few weeks ago.

Besting my 26mpg tank from last fall was probably the worst thing to happen to my wallet, pushed me over the edge on the mods I was considering.

I have a 2009 and I bought a 2013 6 speed so it could be my daily driver while I build my 09 out. I love being able to start on a project and not worry about having to finish up right then since I have another truck to drive. Makes the unexpected issues during projects seem like less of a problem

I have a 2nd gen but this was my intention to leave stock but within first 2 weeks had it tinted bought a used icon stage 2 with ucas an after a month 3rd gen sport wheels. It's in the shop now had a taco guru in Austin to install lift but cam bolts are seized an torn cv boot once fixed install then been eyeballing an arb bumper. It's genetic both sides of my family can't leave well enough alone hell my dad just got a 16 rubicon an before first oil change has 4.5 long arm an 35s bumpers an winch lights to match.

I like this one Patti Bryan made on Moonshiners. You can carry it out in the woods for a little privacy.

this is why i have problems with an aftermarket armored bumper, cutting my stock (expensive plastic bumper) will diminish my ability to sell/trade it in later

Exactly.... I want(ed) an aftermarket bumper so bad... but for now holding off. Esp. after seeing how well those impact zones save lives in these things...

if i can't unbolt and return to stock, i will not do it. that's always been my life long modding philosophy...unless someone wants to buy the car as-is then sure why not

    Stock.
It's hard for me to justify doing anything major since i haven't even broken the 5,000 mile mark yet. It's perfectly capable for what I use it for and I like having an intact factory warranty. Plus since 3 pedal set-ups are going to be all but dead in the coming years I figured keeping it stock and decent will help me at Barret-Jackson in 25 years

I wanna get a bumper. But the weirdest thing keeps happening. When I first got my poverty spec bearded taco, I was like hm I should probably paint that black bumper at some point. But it grew on me a little. The look... it's just rugged as fuck. So then I was like eh I'll just wait, not paint it, and get a plate bumper or fab a tube bumper. But in the same way Jeff goldblum slowly kept turning into the fly, I kept likening the bumper more and more. Now I'm trying to figure out ways to KEEP it and never get front armor... it's so hard to reconcile the issue of leaving the bumper stock. How can I bro as hard as Bro's when I've got something kinda not bro, and I love it?

I bought mine with the 2.7 specifically to curb my desire to mod since it's not worth modding a slow truck. It worked for a while, no im patiently awaiting the URD supercharger to update because I miss having fun while driving.
