Who bought their 1st gen new, and still owns it?

Post pics and details of your 1st gen truck that you bought new and are still driving. I intend to drive my 2013 into the ground but hopefully not for another 20 years.

 

I bought a new 1999 Tacoma extended cab 4 X 2 SR-5 in November of 1998. It was totaled in May of 2010 or I would still be driving it today.

I bought mine new in 2002. Still have it and can't even think of replacing it.

 

Who made those bumpers and where can i get them

 

Front Bumper i couldn't tell ya, I bought it from a TTORA member in Escondido several years ago who bought it from someone else. I've made slight modifications to it since I first got it though.

Rear Bumper i bought from TW member Micah(Taco Me Elmo) who had originally had purchased it from TW vendor Beefed Taco. He's got a website and he's outta So Cal. I'd do some vendor research on him before committing though.

how's those replacement seats working ?

 

Still got mine. 140k. Drove it off the lot in late "01" with 4 miles on it.

 

It's not too bad. I'm still just driving around with the one seat. Ended up selling my stock buckets. Found a 60/40 for real cheap and am having a friend repad and upholstry them. Gonna give that a shot than decide if I wanna keep the 60/40 or buy the matching passenger seat.

'01 reg cab, manual.........lots of memories in that truck.

Had to upsize with a bigger family.

 

My 03 bought new in Nov 2002

 

My dad bought mine new in 99 still running good after 200k+

 

Picked mine up in May 98 and she gets the garage treatment while the car sits outside. Has 96k and here is a pic recently up in the mountains.

 

Bought my '02 in November '01 new. Drove it off the lot with 12 miles on it. Now it's got almost 384K on the clock.
